How to use Assessment Scales in Hiring

Assessment scales are used in the hiring process to systematically evaluate candidates based on specific metrics, enabling a comprehensive assessment before making a hiring decision.

  1. When establishing a new position during the hiring process, it is essential to develop an assessment template. This template should include various sections and metrics, each of which necessitates an assessment scale. These scales are used to assess candidates based on the specified sections.
  1. Once the position has been assigned to a candidate, the designated assessment template will be presented, showcasing the chosen assessment scale. This facilitates the evaluation process.
  2. Evaluate the candidate using the specified metric and provide a comment on their performance in that specific area.
  1. After clicking save and submit, the assigned rating utilizing the chosen assessment scale and accompanying comments can be reviewed in the final assessment.
