How to Create and Configure the Homepage Dashboard
Go to the “Gear” icon and open the “Look & Feel” link.
Select “Dashboard” and click on “Configure Dashboard”.
On the dashboard configuration page, click on the drop-down button to select the items you want to show on the homepage dashboard.
Note: The list of items includes standard as well as custom widgets.
The selected items will be shown as a widget on the page.
Note: The user can drag and drop widgets to change the configuration of widgets on the homepage dashboard.
After the configuration, click on the “Update Configuration” button. The changes made by the user will be saved and applied to the system.
How to Create a Custom Widget
On the dashboard configuration page, click on the “New Custom Widget” link.
Enter the name and description of the custom widget.
Note: The user can insert the image in the custom widget using the URL of the image.
After clicking on the "Save" button, the custom widget created by the user will be shown in the items list. You can now configure the custom widget on the homepage dashboard.
To modify or remove the selected custom widget, users can click on the edit or delete icon, respectively.
